2017 APLAP general meeting
The 2017 APLAP General Meeting will be held during the APLAP Conference, hosted by the National Assembly Library in Seoul, South Korea (26-28 April 2017).
Election of office bearers
Do you have new ideas for developing the expertise of parliamentary libraries and
research services across Asia and the Pacific?
Would you like to guide the direction of an organisation dedicated to developing
the skills and services of its members?
Are you able to apply your own expertise and insights from working in a parliamentary library or research service to the challenges and issues faced by other libraries
and research services across the region?
Can you consult and speak on behalf of parliamentary libraries and research services?
At the 2017 APLAP General Meeting, which will be held during the APLAP Conference, members will elect the following office bearers to the APLAP Executive Committee:
- Vice-president (Asia)
- Vice-president (Pacific)
Call for nominations
All employees of parliamentary libraries or research services which hold active membership of the Association of Parliamentary Librarians of Asia and the Pacific are eligible to stand for election.
Instructions for nomination
Nominations can be made in two ways:
- individuals may nominate themselves
- a member may nominate another individual for election, provided the nominee certifies she/he is willing to stand.
All nominees must complete the nomination form and return it to Emma Rey by Monday 27 March 2017.
