President’s Welcome

Welcome to the new website of the Association of Parliamentary Librarians of Asia and the Pacific (APLAP). The site brings together all APLAP documentation and resources in one place, and we hope that it will serve as a communication hub for all APLAP members.

On this site you can keep up with the latest news from Parliamentary Libraries in Asia and the Pacific, learn more about APLAP and browse papers and resources from past APLAP conferences. I also invite you to register for access to the Members Only area of the site, where you will be able to access papers from APLAP Business Meetings and contact other APLAP members. We will also shortly be starting an APLAP Facebook page to further enhance our communication with members.

I would like to join with my fellow Executive Committee members in warmly welcoming you to the site. We would love to hear from you – please contact us with any feedback or contributions, or post a topic in the Members Only forum.

We are all in the business of providing library and research services to Parliaments. I hope that we can continue to share and learn from each other in order to provide the highest quality services to our Members.
