IFLAPARL pre-conference – registration open
Registration for the 2017 IFLAPARL Pre-Conference has begun; information can be found on the pre-conference website. As a result of the feedback received from last year's event, there are plans for a more interactive and engaging programme this year.
The website was created by our colleagues at the Sejm Library and Senate Analyses, Documentation and Correspondence Office, Parliament of the Republic of Poland, our hosts for the pre-conference.
The conference organisers are looking for colleagues to share experiences in relation to the pre-conference theme, Information as the foundation for social solidarity: The role of Parliamentary libraries and research services. More information on the call for presentations is available here.
If you wish to attend the pre-conference and require an official letter of invitation, please contact Lillian Gassie, Chair of IFLAPARL. We look forward to meeting you in Warsaw this August.
IFLAPARL is the Infernational Federation of Library Associations and Institutions' section on Library and Research Services for Parliaments (IFLAPARL). Over 90 parliaments participate in the section’s activities. IFLAPARL supports the work of parliamentary librarians and researchers in providing information and analysis to members and staff of parliaments in their legislative, oversight and representational work.
